This is one of my favourite questions. No, really. Because it gives me a chance to talk about another of my favourite things – shoes.
Here is the scenario: A women walks into a shoe store, walks right up to the Sales Assistant and says “How much for a pair of shoes?” The assistant, a little taken aback, says “Well, what kind of shoes? Do you want shoes for work, going out, exercise or casual wear? What size do you need? What colour? Open toe or closed toe? High heel, flat, wedge or stiletto? Leather or man-made? Long boots, ankle boots, court shoe, thong, sandal or jogger? Velcro, buckle or lace? Any brand preference?
You get the idea. You can’t just walk into a shoe store and get the first thing that comes off the shelf and expect it be the right fit and style. The same applies to websites. It is our job to ask questions to determine what is the best fit for your needs. Then we can give you a price on the shoes (err, I mean website).
