As hair and beauty therapists, you are in the business of boosting the confidence of your client. But as you know, it takes trust for your clients to place their confidence in your hands in the first place. That’s where a website comes in.
Instill confidence with potential clients
It surprises me how few hairdressers and beauty salons have websites. Online is the perfect media for this type of business – here are some things you could have on your website:
- contact details
- opening hours
- location map
- profiles of stylists
- price lists
- testimonials from happy customers
- and even before and after photos for special events such as formals and weddings.
Stand out from the crowd and be found
Doing a google search for hair dressers in my area is an interesting exercise: they all come up under the Yellow Pages listing which is OK if you know what you are looking for – but what if I was new to town or needed a change? The other problem with the online listings is they also have your competitors listed – so they are always just a click away. A website of your own will help you stand out from the crowd. Having a website that comes up in Google will put you in front of those who don’t. That’s a no brainer.
How much will a website cost?
Just 2 or 3 new clients could cover the cost of your website in a year. Contact me for a quote.
